Winnersh Triangle is offering a fun alternative to traditional exercise: a fusion of Latin-based rhythms, dance and movement mingled together to form the fitness craze that is Zumba!

Occupiers at the park can wiggle, jump and boogie to burn off calories each week at the Zumba classes, which are held on site in The Venue. The classes are run by aficionado and expert Ciaran Greene. He found the benefits of Zumba after being introduced by a friend many years ago as a way to strengthen his muscles and joints, which have suffered due to an ongoing medical condition. After developing a love for all things Zumba, Ciaran went on to gain his teaching qualification in 2012 and has been sharing his passion since at a host of different classes in the area.

Occupiers are invited along to classes every Thursday, with the first session free and subsequent ones £6 – with the added perk of every sixth they attend being free!

The classes have proven extremely popular since they started earlier this month as a great way to exercise, improve heart and lung function and develop muscle tone. Zumba is suitable for all fitness levels, enabling everyone to join in the fun that Ciaran’s classes bring.

The Zumba classes are just one of the variety of fitness and exercise activities on offer at Winnersh Triangle, ensuring occupier happiness and health is always a priority.
