The 5,500 employees at Winnersh Triangle celebrated the festive season last week with a series of Christmas events organised over four days by the business park’s manager, PATRIZIA UK.

A highlight of the Christmas week saw Winnersh Triangle’s communal space ‘The Green’ turn white, with the advent of a skating rink installed for the enjoyment of occupiers.

Having expanded from its usual one-day Christmas event, celebrations at the park this year began on December 12, with the opportunity for people to take a well-earned break and make festive table decorations.

Other Christmas activities included a choir from The Forest School, a local all-boys secondary and mixed sixth form, which visited the business park to sing Christmas carols.

The park’s new Gather & Gather café, which opened its doors at Winnersh Triangle earlier this year, served hot chocolate and fresh mince pies from a vintage van on The Green.

PATRIZIA UK’s Rupert Batho said: “Our traditional Christmas event has been a fantastic way, as always, for our occupiers to celebrate the successes of the year, and for everyone to get the most out of our new outdoor space – the installation of the skating rink this year has added that extra sparkle to our celebrations.

We’d like to thank all our occupiers and their employees for their enthusiasm and positive feedback which made this year’s Christmas event the biggest and best yet. The event is a great way of bringing people across the park together to kick off the festive season as a community.”

Named Business Park of the Year at the Thames Valley Property Awards 2016, Winnersh Triangle offers 1.46 million square feet of space for office, industrial, data centre, R&D and amenity space. Global companies that acquired offices in 2016 include Becton Dickinson, CitySprint and Subsea Components.

The business park is only five minutes from the M4 and 25 minutes from Heathrow International Airport, and provides amenities such as a 4-star hotel with conference facilities, bar, restaurant and a fitness centre, as well as a retail store, café, nursery and ATM.
