PATRIZIA UK, the managers of Winnersh Triangle near Reading, signaled the start of the festive season earlier this week with a Christmas Fair for businesses based at the park.

Nearly 2,000 employees escaped the office to stock up on Christmas gifts from over 20 craft stalls, enjoy a free lunch of gourmet turkey burgers and listen to carols sung by Hark the Herald.

Will Lawrie, PATRIZIA UK asset manager said: “The Winnersh Triangle Christmas Fair gets bigger and better every year and it was great to see so many people from across the park making the most of the occasion.

“It’s a wonderful way to kick off the festive season and celebrate all that has happened on park this year with new companies moving in, award wins and the development and construction of new facilities.

“It was also a pleasure to raise funds for two of our charity occupiers, Age Concern and Guide Dogs, who benefited from several hundred pounds of pitch fees donated by the stall holders. Feedback from the occupiers about the Christmas Fair has been very positive and we look forward to holding a similar event next year.”

The 85-acre mixed-use business park has over 1.4 million square feet of built stock with more than 60 diverse companies employing 5,000 people on site. Major names include Jacobs (UK) Ltd, Virgin Media, BMC, Microchip, Grant Thornton, Lloyds Bank, WH Smith, Atos and CenturyLink.

As well as having a great location just off junction 10 of the M4, Winnersh Triangle benefits from its own train station plus a four-star hotel with a restaurant, conference facilities and a range of leisure amenities, plus a retail store, café, nursery and ATM.
