Winnersh Triangle business park has recently welcomed a world-leading distributor of plumbing and heating products, adding to its significant portfolio of occupiers.

Ferguson plc’s Group Services office has relocated from Arlington Business Park, Theale, to join other international neighbours – including Grant Thornton, Atos and Qlik – in one of Winnersh Triangle’s prime buildings, 1020 Eskdale Road.

The lease on 9,311 sq ft on the first floor of 1020 supports Winnersh Triangle’s reputation as an employment hub for key companies in the Thames Valley.

Ferguson’s arrival follows the recent expansion of the US healthcare firm BD; Japanese industrial hardware firm, Sugatsune; and leading German engineering and services provider, Bilfinger.

Commenting on the company’s move to the business park, Mike Ward, Head of Corporate Communications at Ferguson, said: “It’s a fantastic building and location for our people, with easy access to London and the train and motorway networks. With some great local amenities, and good feedback from our teams already, we believe we will be very happy here.”

Commenting for Winnersh Triangle, Commercial Director Rupert Batho said: “Ferguson’s arrival is a vote of confidence in the strength of our park-wide offer at Winnersh Triangle.

“Building 1020 is located in the park’s central piazza, with immediate access to the extensive amenity offer that is located there. From Winnersh’s train station, Ferguson’s employees can get to and from London in 40 minutes, which makes for a compelling combination of great accessibility and exceptional accommodation. Winnersh Triangle is an ideal base for companies wishing to expand and grow.”

Colliers acted for Ferguson. Vail Williams, BNP Paribas and JLL acted for Winnersh Triangle.
